I am currently a Preservation Archivist at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History. My duties include managing and reorganizing the SCDAH security microfilm vault, digitizing film, paper, and A/V records, assisting researchers, and processing and preparing records for filming and digitization. Prior to beginning at SCDAH, I received my MA in Public History with a concentration in Archival Management from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. My thesis focuses on the multi-faceted nature of southern Civil War memory, and is titled "Varina Davis, Beauvoir, and the Fight for Confederate Memory."
